The art of Marinna Elinski
My name is Marinna Elinski, I’m originally from New York. I now live in a yurt in Wyoming. I mostly work with acrylic paint, but I like to get creative on all different types of surfaces and work with mixed media.
Art is something that has afforded me great peace and pleasure, but it’s also something I feel like I have to do! I really think if I didn’t express myself creatively it would manifest itself in destructive ways. It’s how I process, integrate, and harmonize my internal world with my external. I also think it’s beautiful how it can create such an authentic and deep connection with others, there’s healing in that!
I think now is an especially important and potent time to create and share in that connection, in whatever way feels natural. ■
